The Computer Skills Training for Workforce Readiness program provides a supportive learning pathway that helps participants develop practical, job-ready digital skills in an engaging and accessible environment. Through instruction in keyboarding, basic computer operations, introductory data entry, email, internet navigation, file management, and online safety, participants build the foundational technology skills needed to use computers confidently in everyday life and workplace settings. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, guided practice, and progressive skill development, preparing students for more advanced computer training, increased digital independence, and entry-level employment opportunities.
This 90-Day program meets the requirements of the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) for Skill Enhancement Training (SET). It is not a formal retraining plan, but a short-term educational program designed to build essential computer and digital literacy skills for workforce readiness.
Prerequisites: No English proficiency is required, as instruction is provided entirely in Spanish. Students must complete an intake assessment to determine appropriate placement.
