Program Code: SET90–PREGED

The Spanish Pre-GED Preparation for Academic & Career Advancement program provides a supportive learning pathway for adults seeking to strengthen the foundational academic skills needed for high school equivalency studies, workforce training, and future educational opportunities. Through targeted instruction in mathematics, reading, science, and social studies, participants build confidence, reinforce core academic competencies, and make measurable progress toward readiness for the Spanish GED exam. The program emphasizes skill development, critical thinking, effective study habits, and lifelong learning to support continued educational and career success.

This 90-Day program meets the requirements of the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) for Skill Enhancement Training (SET). It is not a formal retraining plan, but a short-term educational program designed to strengthen core academic skills in Spanish and prepare students for successful enrollment in a Spanish GED program.

Prerequisites: No English proficiency is required, as instruction is provided entirely in Spanish. Students must complete an intake assessment to determine appropriate placement.
